Hi Everyone! A couple of ideas for family activities after watching this video:

1) Read Ruth 1-4. ….“and I also know about all the love and kindness you have shown your mother-in-law….. (TLB)

2) Key point. Ruth reminds us that even during dark and seemingly insurmountable circumstances, when doubts about God overwhelm us, God’s love for us is sure.

3) Family Time.

  • Locate Moab and Bethlehem on map.
  • Lookup definition of gleaning and talk about why there were gleaners.
  • Discuss kinsmen redeemers.
  • Play “Follow the Leader.”
  • Make barley soup and share it with a neighbor.

4) Activities. Have fun using the activities below to emphasize the key points of the scripture.
