Going Further
Hi Everyone! A couple of ideas for family activities after watching this video:
1) Read Matthew 7:24-27.
2) Family Time.
- Paint a rock, and include the memory verse on it.
- Stack some blocks on a solid surface such as a hard floor. Stack some on a lumpy, uneven surface such as a pile of sand, salt, or lumpy carpet. Which falls over first?
- What does it mean for us to have a firm foundation?
- Why is it important to have a firm foundation?
- How do we get a firm foundation?
- In the parable, who was Jesus referring to when He talked about the wise man? The foolish man?
- What are some trials and tribulations that you have gone through as a family? Did it cause you to lose faith in Jesus or grow closer to Him?
- Pray together as a family.
3) Activities.
- Draw a picture about today’s lesson, or color the printable coloring sheet (see below), take a picture and send it to Pastor Shaun so that it can be shared in next week’s video.
