Angels abound!
And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and…

This week we learn how the Lord’s army is in battle with the enemy (Satan) protecting us even when we don’t see what is happening. Watch the video below to learn more details!
Memory Verse:
We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world.

Going Further
Hi Everyone! A couple of ideas for family activities after watching this video:
1) Read/Review 2 Kings 6:8-17
2) Family Time.
- Who was planning secret attacks against Israel?
- Who knew the King of Syria’s secrets?
- What happened to the King of Syria’s plans to attack Israel?
- Why was Elisha’s servant afraid?
- How did Elisha pray for his servant?
- What did Elisha’s servant see?
- Today, Sarah shared the word, “omnipotent” (see Word of the Week.) This means all powerful and having all authority. Knowing there are spiritual forces fighting on our behalf, how does it help to know that God is omnipotent?
- How important is it to put on the armor of God?
- How important is it to know who our real enemy is when we have disagreements with others?
- Play Hide and Go Seek, but with a twist. Have one person hide while another person counts. As the person counting begins to seek the hidden person, reveal the hiding place to them. Discuss how this made the Syrian army feel. In addition to being omnipotent, God is also omnipresent. He is everywhere and sees all things.
- Pray together as a family.
3) Activities.
- Draw a picture about today’s lesson, or color the printable coloring sheet (see below), take a picture and send it to Pastor Shaun so that it can be shared in next week’s video.
- Scroll down to the music videos and sing along.
- Have fun using the activities below.
