Faithfulness Wk4

Faithfulness

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

HEBREWS 10:23 (ESV)

God is faithful; he does what he says he is going to do. God wants us to be faithful too. Peter was faithful to Jesus even though he made mistakes. He fixed his eyes on Jesus and was able to walk on water. He returned to Jesus, even though he denied him three times. Jesus was faithful to show him he was welcome back into the fold and told him to feed his sheep. Peter went on to fulfill Jesus’ words and be a “rock” for Jesus. Watch the video below to learn more of God’s faithfulness!

Memory Verse:

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

DEUTERONOMY 7:9
