Gentleness
To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
TITUS 3:2
Gentleness can be demonstrated through our actions, conversations, and in song. This week we wrap up the teaching for “gentleness” with a specially produced song. Watch the video below to learn how gentleness can be a part of your character!

Going Further
Hi Everyone! A couple of ideas for family time after watching the video. We get to demonstrate gentleness toward others out of love, just as God does toward us. Let’s purpose to be gentle toward others; this includes being gentle with pets too!
Family Time:
- Read/Review: Matthew 11:28-30 and John 13:1-16
- Activity: Use the following acrostic or create your own. Make a poster and decorate it.
- G – GRACIOUS
- E – EMPATHETIC
- N – NICE
- T – TENDER
- L – LOVING
- E – ENDEARING
- N – NURTURING
- E – ENCOURAGING
- S – SENSITIVE
- S – SYMPATHETIC
- Definition of GENTLENESS: Showing personal care and concern in meeting the needs of others, especially those who are defenseless. Choosing not to use size, or position of authority, to exercise power over someone else in a mean way. Not instilling fear in those under your authority, so that they can approach you if they are in need.
- Pray together as a family: Is there someone in your family who has not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior?
