Our God is a Generous God
From the first breath you took today, to the skills used as you make a living, you and I have been given so much to be grateful for. There is nothing we have which did not first come from the hand of God Almighty.
Throughout the Old and New Testaments, there is a call for the community of God to imitate our Father in his generosity. Whether that is the giving of a tithe (10% of income) or giving out of the overflow of a grateful heart, we are to be givers.
Your faithful support allows the mission of HCC to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples to move forward.
We believe stewardship is more than money. God has given each of us Time, Talent, Treasure, and a Testimony which we are called to offer back to him. We encourage all our members to give financially, but also to follow the model of the Macedonians in first giving of yourself to God.
Fund Descriptions
General: Our general fund covers all the ordinary operating expenses at HCC. Salaries, ministry costs, utilities, supplies, and more are covered here. We encourage all members to do their primary giving to this fund.
One Another: Our deacon team utilize this fund to serve needs of church members and those in the community with unexpected needs such as food, shelter, or other matters that may arise.
Building (New Construction): We are not actively planning any new construction at this time. However, we recognize that the time may come when it is important in order to fulfill the mission that we do a significant building project.
Building Maintenance/Improvement: We have been blessed by God with some wonderful buildings and grounds. As with any property, there are maintenance issues that arise (both expected and unexpected). This fund is an opportunity to help provide resources to offset those costs as they come.
Youth Ministry: This fund is used primarily for youth activities and scholarships for camps and retreats.
