What to Expect

What Happens on a Sunday Morning

Our Sunday morning service usually starts out with our worship team leading us in a few songs of praise and worship.

We move into a time of teaching from the Bible. Usually this is sermon that lasts roughly 30 minutes. The sermon generally wraps up with another song or two, and a few members of our prayer team will be available to pray over any need you may have.

We offer Sunday School classes for Adults online through zoom. Contact Harley Poole for more information.

Middle School and High School Sunday School classes meet on Sunday’s after church, please contact Caleb Miller for more information.

If you are visiting us on the first Sunday of the month we will likely be taking communion. We welcome all who have trusted Jesus with their salvation to participate.

What to Wear

We are a casual family of believers. You are welcome to come dressed however you are comfortable, whether it’s in your Sunday best or simply jeans and a tee-shirt.

Nursery and Children’s Church

Due to Covid-19 Nursery and Children’s Church in-person are suspended until further notice. Children will be able to participate in the service. We also have an online Children’s Church, which you can learn more about on the Children’s Ministry page.

If you have any questions please contact Deb Mattern for more information.

We have a few options for parking when you arrive. Our main lot is right off the main road and offers a few handicap spots near the door to the sanctuary, but can tend to fill up fast. We offer additional parking in the rear of the buildings, which can be accessed by following the driveway on the North side of the fellowship hall. You are also welcome to park in the Hockinson Middle School parking lot just to the South of HCC.

Indoor Service Guidelines for Covid- 19

  • Given the size of our building we are going to have limited seating so that we can maintain a safe distance between families
  • After service, we will be exiting through the office door, and the door out to the back.
  • Remember, please register as we have limited seating available.
  • We are so looking forward to getting back together in person!  Hope to see you on Sunday!
  • There are a few things to be sure and remember:
    • Bring a face mask with you – This will help keep you, and those around you safe!
    • We ask that you keep your facemask on at all times when you are in the building, even during worship.
    • We do have clear face shields available for your use if you are not comfortable wearing a mask.
    • Check your temperature at home
    • Be sure you don’t have any symptoms
