In Matthew 27, we follow Jesus from His trial before Pilate to the cross and the tomb. Through His silence, suffering, and willing sacrifice, we see Jesus as the innocent Lamb of God who gave Himself freely in love for us. The question ultimately becomes the one answered by the centurion at the cross: “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
