Following Jesus doesn’t mean our lives will be without trouble and deep moments of grief. Jesus promised to always be with us through the pain. We look to those passages that remind us of this whenever we face those hard losses. But what if one of those ways Jesus stands with those who grieve is through one another? What if someone else can only experience the fullness of the encouragement Christ wants to bring to their pain when we step into it with them? Paul calls on the Thessalonian Church to do just that
